FC Barcelona got their LaLiga title charge back on track with a 4-0 thrashing of Real Betis, while 15-year-old Lamine Yamal made his debut at the Camp Nou.
After a disappointing loss to Rayo Vallecano, the Catalans started Andreas Christensen and Sergio Busquets with Ousmane Dembele back from injury and on the bench.
Betis did make a change just 12 minutes in when Luiz Felipe came across an injury pull and needed to be replaced by Edgar Gonzalez.
The Catalans made full use of the disruption two minutes later and were ahead as Christensen powerfully headed a cross from Raphinha into the net.
It got worse for Betis after the half-hour mark where substitute Gonzalez saw red for a bookable offence following a poor foul on Pedri.
Barcelona continued to have the overall momentum and registered a second when Robert Lewandowski slotted in the bottom-corner after Jules Kounde's assist.
Raphinha, who inspired the opener, made it three five minutes to halftime as he latched onto Busquets' pass for a composed finish which the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) awarded.
The Blaugrana continued their dominant spell after the break and were close to a fourth where Lewandowski nestled the post with a rasping effort.
Betis were utterly on the back-foot and enjoyed no momentum up top as the Catalans caused all problems and threatened again when Ronald Araujo nodded wide from a corner.
The fourth did came when Ansu Fati dropped wide with a change of pace and had Guido Rodriguez turn the subsequent delivery into his own net eight minutes from time.
Manager Xavi Hernandez decided to give young Lamine Yamal a debut as he replaced Gavi with under five minutes to play.
The youngster nearly had a dream debut later on where he went close with a smart effort before Lewandowski had a free-kick saved, as the Catalans returned to winning ways to maintain their title march.
