Barcelona missed the chance to cement top spot in LaLiga after playing to a 2-2 draw against Real Mallorca on Tuesday night.
Barca manager Xavi reserved Robert Lewandowski, who was replaced by Raphinha in attack that also had Ferran Torres and Joao Felix following their come-from-behind win over Celta Vigo.
Blaugrana had a bad start after Mallorca got an early lead through a strike by Vedat Muriqi from a rebound after a mistake in the box by goalkeeper Marc Andre ter Stegen.
The Catalan giants had a lion's share of possession after that and had a good chance on 24 minutes after a delicate cross by Raphinha but Torres fluffed his chance.
Mallorca goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic was called into action for the first time seven minutes before the interval where he made a close-range save to deny Torres.
As the visitors gained momentum, Raphinha finally levelled matters just before the interval with a strike past Rajkovic after he was allowed cut in to his favourite left foot in the box.
Barca had two big chances just before the break saved by Rajkovic through Joao Felix and Raphinha but a goal behind again on the stroke of half-time after Abdon Prats poked home a long ball from Muriqi.
Blaugrana had a positive start in the second stanza as they had more of the ball and within nine minutes Felix was denied the equaliser after he rattled the post with a strike from the edge of the box.
Xavi eventually brought on Lewandowski just before the hour-mark in place of Torres and withdrew Felix moments later in favour of Yamine Yamal for fresh legs.
The moved nearly paid off a couple of minutes later as the referee initially awarded Barca a penalty after Yamal was brought down in the box, however, after a second look on the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) monitor, the referee changed his mind.
Fermin Lopez eventually equalised for the visitors in the last 15 minutes with a tap-in after a cut-back by Raphinha, which caught Mallorca off-guard after Lewandowski jumped the ball for Lopez to finish.
The game suddenly opened up and Cyle Larin had a chance for Javier Aguerre's men five minutes later from from counter-attack but he was denied by Ter Stegen at the near post.
Barca had the momentum in added time but they could not get clear chances, as they were held to a 2-2 draw.
Blaugrana extended their lead at the top of the table by just a point and just two points ahead of third-placed Real Madrid, who have a game in hand.
