Los Blancos opened their 2020/21 Champions League campaign with a surprise 3-2 defeat to Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk earlier in the week, piling pressure on Zidane after an unspectacular start to the domestic season.
The reigning LaLiga champions are currently third in the league standings with 10 points out of a possible 15, but have struggled to hit top form in any of their matches during the current campaign.
French publication L'Equipe claim that the pressure is now starting to mount on manager Zidane who has reportedly been given just two more matches by the club's board with which to turn his side's fortunes around.
That includes this weekend's highly-anticipated El Clasico encounter with rivals FC Barcelona and a tricky trip to Germany next week for the UCL clash against Borussia Monchengladbach, leaving the 48-year-old with little margin for error.
