Brazil legend Ronaldo Nazario has pulled off a major coup for his club after signing a striker who outscored Lionel Messi in Europe last season.
On Monday afternoon, LaLiga minnows Real Valladolid, under the presidency of two-time FIFA World Cup winner Ronaldo, completed the signing of Israel international Shon Weismann on a four-year deal from Wolfsberger AC.

"Real Valladolid and Wolfsberger AC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Shon Zalman Weissman. The international striker, current top scorer in the Austrian Bundesliga, is committed to the Blanquivioleta entity until 2024," the club announced via its official website.

Weismann scored a league-high 30 goals for Wolfsberger last season, which was the joint fourth-most by any player across Europe, with only Cristiano Ronaldo (31), Robert Lewandowski (34) and Ciro Immobile (36) scoring more times for their respective clubs.
The 24-year-old ultimately ended ninth in the race for the Golden Shoe award due to the Austrian Bundesliga's weaker coefficient, but arrives in Spain with a growing reputation as one of the continent's most prolific goalscorers.
