Yaya Toure linked with LaLiga return after 'opening talks' with Cadiz

Former FC Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure has been linked with a sensational return to LaLiga after reportedly opening talks with league newcomers Cadiz.

Toure, who has been a free agent since leaving Chinese Super League side Qingdao Huanghai in January, is reportedly looking to get back on the pitch and has been linked with a return to the Spanish top flight.

According to BBC Sport, Cadiz have held discussions with the former Ivory Coast star about a potential move to the south of Spain, although the LaLiga minnows face competition from suitors across the Middle East, Asia and the United States.

The 37-year-old spent three seasons in Spain with Barcelona between 2007 and 2010, making 118 appearances and winning two LaLiga crowns, a UEFA Champions League title and four other major honours.
