Ayew, 30, has enjoyed an impressive season in the SkyBet Championship with Swansea after his loan stint in the Turkish Super Lig with Fenerbahçe.
The Ghana star played an instrumental role as captain by guiding the Swans to the play-offs where they fell short against Brentford last month.
He featured in all but two league games, scoring 15 goals and registering seven assists in the 44 appearances and manager Steve Cooper admitted after the defeat to the Bees that Ayew was 'too good' to remain at the club.
