Coupe de France wrap

Paris Saint-Germain had no issues progressing to the quarter-finals of the French Cup with a 2-0 win over third-tier side Pau at the Stade du Harneau.

Leonardo Paredes got the opener for Thomas Tuchel's men on 25 minutes before Pablo Sarabia ensured victory with seven minutes remaining in the second half.

Olympique Marseille booked their spot in the last eight with a 3-1 victory over RC Strasbourg at the Stade Velodrome.

First-half goals from Bouna Sarr and Dimitri Payet put the hosts ahead at halftime before Benjamin Cognet gave the visitors a consolation in the 59th minute.

Strasbourg then had Abdallah N'Dour dismissed after 86 minutes, with Boubacar Kamara firing the third in time added on.

LOSC Lille were shocked by Ligue 2 outfit SAS Epinal, who engineered a 2-1 win in the French Cup last 16 on Wednesday evening.

Lille were ahead after eight minutes through Loic Remy, but a second-half double from dangerman Jean-Phillipe KrasSo turned the game around completely.

Epinal have now advanced to the last eight and will slug it out with some of the big guns such as Paris Saint Germain.

Cultural Leonesa 0-0 Valencia (Valencia won 4-0 on penalties)

Rayo Vallecano 0-2 Villarreal
