The alleged incident is said to have taken place at about 5am on 30 May, and the tourist filed a complaint against Kurzawa and his entourage the following day, on 1 June.

The tourist was reportedly leaving the venue when he was approached by a man later identified as the former PSG star, with the fullback alleged to have asked him for his phone as he wanted to see videos on it due to his suspicion that he was being filmed.

With the tourist understood to have refused to hand over his phone, three or four individuals from Kurzawa's entourage allegedly attacked him.

The alleged victim told authorities that he was strangled from behind and was brought to the ground, where he injured his arms, elbow, and face.

Furthermore, the complainant said he was then forced to unlock his phone and show his photo library to verify that he was not recording Kurzawa or had videos of him.

Kurzawa has since been questioned over the complaint, but to date no arrest has been made.
