FC Barcelona offer two stars & R623 million for Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar

FC Barcelona are believed to have tabled a cash-plus-players swap deal for Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar, involving €40 million in transfer fees and two of the Spanish giants' most expensive signings ever.

Neymar, 27, is believed to be keen on securing a return to former employers Barca, with speculation reaching an all-time high after the Selecao star initially failed to turn up for pre-season training.

The former Santos star added fuel to the fire recently when he revealed that his greatest footballing moment thus far in his career is the Blaugrana's memorable 6-1 victory over PSG in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie in 2017, a sentiment that did not please the French giants' fans.

As per AS, the Blaugrana have submitted an offer of €40 million (R623 million) plus Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele for Neymar's signature.

The former Liverpool star was snapped up by the Catalan club for €142 million (R2.2 billion) in January 2018, while the France winger was signed at a cost of €105 million (R1.6 billion) in August 2017.

Les Parisiens are said to be willing to part ways with Neymar, and are reportedly adamant on recouping the €222 million (R3.4 billion) they spent on the Brazilian two years ago.
