Former Orlando Pirates defender Marshall Munetsi has earned himself a new deal with Ligue 1 outfit Stade de Reims after an impressive debut season.
After only one season with the Soweto giants, Munetsi secured a switch to the French top flight after representing Zimbawe at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Zimbabwean managed to stake a claim in the side and nocthed up 21 appearances before the 2019/20 campaign was called off due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Munetsi has now penned a new long-term deal with Reims, who secured UEFA Europa League football next season after finishing sixth.

The French top flight was the first of Europe's top five leagues to cancel their season, while Bundesliga resumed their campaign on Saturday afternoon behind closed doors.
Reims president Jean-Pierre Caillot had nothing but praise for the Zimbabwe international after signing his new deal.
"On a sporting and human level, Marshall is one of the great satisfactions of the season. The recruitment cell had studied the man and the player in depth, but there is still this unknown factor linked to cultural and climatic adaptation. Marshall justified the confidence placed in him, his state of mind as well as his performances were remarkable," Caillot told the club's official website.
"This extension validates a promising first season. This signature touches me all the more since I know all the additional work that the player has done to seize his chance ... "
