With Kylian Mbappe said to have acquired a majority stake in a new club in Europe, just how much the Real Madrid star paid for the big purchase has now seemingly been revealed.
According to The Independent UK, Mbappe is set to become the new owner of French second-tier side SM Caen after acquiring an 80% stake in the club.

The 25-year-old is set to become one of the youngest club owners in Europe as he replaces previous majority shareholder Oaktree, an American investment firm who acquired Italian giants Inter Milan in May.
According to the abovementioned British outlet, Mbappe paid a modest fee of £17 million (R398 million) for the takeover, with £12.6 million (R294 million) of that price coming out of his own money via the Coalition Capital investment fund.
The remaining 20% stake is owned by the side's current president of the club's supervisory board, Pierre Antoine Capton.
It is further suggested that Mbappe will appoint close friend Ziad Hammoud, who also oversees his image rights company, as the club's new president.
In terms of further appointments and funds invested into the club, plans are still in the early stages, but the Real superstar is said to be keen to maintain the Ligue 2 team's focus on developing young players.
Notably, Mbappe's family were recently reported to have halted the potential transfer of striker Alexandre Mendy to Sunderland due to the impending takeover.
Caen were relegated from Ligue 1 in 2019 and have not gained promotion since, finishing fifth in the second division in 2023/24.
