According to Le Parisien, Mbappe has decided he will leave PSG at the end of the season and join Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Mbappe has been linked with a move to the Spanish capital for the last few years now and was close to making the switch in 2022, but opted to sign a contract extension.
ESPN, meanwhile, have reported that the 2018 World Cup winner is yet to inform PSG or Los Blancos about his decision.
The report from ESPN adds that Mbappe turned down a pay rise from PSG as he wants to leave the club on a free transfer, which will also see him opting out of bonuses worth close to €100million.
Los Blancos are also said to be aware of another possible U-turn from Mbappe until the contracts are officially signed.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently stated that he wans the World Cup winner to remain in the French capital.
"Look, I'm not hiding anything," Al-Khelaifi told RMC Sport.
"For sure I want Mbappe to stay. For me he is the best in the world and for me the best club for Kylian is Paris.'
