While many believe he will be a Real player by the time the 2024/25 campaign comes around, nothing has been made official yet.

With the France international now in the last six months of his current deal, he is allowed to begin pre-contractual negotiations with other clubs outside of France.

It is said that he is in the process of working out the terms of his deal with Los Blancos, and has now reportedly made a considerable demand.

According to Defensa Central, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has requested that Real president Florentino Perez attempt to also sign his PSG teammate Achraf Hakimi, who is one of his best friends in football.

It has also been said that Carlo Ancelotti's side will, in 2025, begin to hunt for someone who can operate in the right-back position, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup semi-finalist is believed to be eager for a return to the Spanish capital, having played for Real's junior set-up before breaking into the senior team in 2017, and then being sold to Inter Milan in 2020.
