Ligue 1 match report Paris Saint-Germain v OGC Nice 13 February 2021

Mauricio Pochettino made four alterations to his team after their victory over Marseille last time out in the league. Keylor Navas returned from injury to start in goal, with Thilo Kehrer, Julian Draxler and Moises Kean also coming in. Meanwhile, Nice were unchanged from their win against Angiers in the league last weekend.

There was an early chance for PSG as the ball was headed out to Ivan Paredes on the edge of the box, whose first-time effort dragged wide of the upright.

PSG took the lead in the 22nd minute. Kehrer delivered into the box as Mauro Icardi slid onto it and hit the post but it rebounded to Draxler, who was there to poke it home.

Ten minutes later, Mbappe delivered a tempting cross from the left which found its way to Kean at the far post, who sliced the effort wide.

Nice created their best moment of the first half in the 42nd minute. Good combination play down the right saw Claude Maurice cut the ball back to Amine Gouiri on the edge of the box from the right, but he leant back on the effort and it went sailing over the bar.

Nice were level five minutes after the break. A sloppy clearance by Marquinhos went straight to Rony Lopes on the opposite side of the box, who took a touch before firing the effort into the roof of the net.

The hosts survived a scare shortly after the hour mark. They countered quickly and Myziane Maolida fed in Gouiri on the left of the box. And his effort cannoned back off the crossbar but Lopes couldn't turn it in.

The game was becoming more expansive as both sides pushed forward in search of the winner. Soon after, Kehrer made good progress down the right and laid it off to Kean, who unleashed a stinging drive on goal but Walter Benitez did well to palm it away.

A lapse in concentration cost Nice as PSG took the lead in the 76th minute when Kean reacted quickly after Icardi fired it back across the box with the Italian international heading home from close range.

Nice had a final opportunity to equalise in the 85th minute. They took the corner short and Claude Maurice lifted the cross into the box from the left. He picked out former Bayern Munich defender Jean-Clair Todibo at the far post, but he couldn't keep his header down and it sailed over the bar.
