Paris Saint-Germain moved top of Ligue 1 after Kylian Mbappe netted a hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Reims on Saturday evening.
Star player and captain Kylian Mbappe led the line and was joined in the final third by Warren Zaire Emery, Goncalo Ramos, Lee Kang-In and Ousmane Dembele, who were on target in the win over Montpellier last weekend.
Mbappe got the reigning champions up and running after just three minutes when he barged into the area to side-foot in Dembele's teasing cross.
Reims thought they had levelled after seven minutes with a telling strike by Mohammed Daramy following Arnad Richardson's through ball, but it didn't count as the forward was deemed offside.
Daramy was in again moments later where his free-kick in a decent position deflected off Marshal Munetsi and managed to draw a last-ditch save from goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
There were more work for the latter in the closing minutes to halftime where he parried Richardson's snap shot and palmed a glancing header by Emmanuel Agbadou on the post and into touch.
Ramos was removed in the second half following a rather quiet outing and allowed Vitinha to step in and take his position.
PSG went further in front 12 minutes in the second period when Soler was put through on an overlapping run by Dembele and cutback to see Mbappe tap in to complete his brace.
Mbappe targeted a hat-trick after ten minutes with a first-time shot from a scramble around the box as the host looked disorganised at the back, but Yehvann Diouf was able to make a save.
The French national captain did get a treble of strikes in the last ten minutes when he met Bradley Barcola's delivery and lashed a first-time shot beyond Diouf.
PSG managed to run down the final minutes and grabbed a fifth consecutive league victory to go to the top of the table.
