Thomas Tuchel started with a fearsome front four of Neymar Junior, Angel Di Maria, Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi.

Having provided the encounter's two goals, Mbappe had a chance to get his own eight minutes from time but the 2018 World Cup winner steered Pablo Sarabia's delightful pass wide.
PSG still pushed for a third in the final minutes of the match, but were unable to found it as their two-goal tally proved enough for the victory in the end.
