Angers 3-1 Bordeaux
All the goals were scored in the first stanza as Angers came from behind to beat Bordeaux 3-1 on Saturday evening at Stade Raymond-Kopa.
Nicolas de Preville grabbed an early lead for the visitors in the fourth minute but it proved to be only the consolation goal as Jeff Reine-Adelaide levelled matters for Angers in the 27th minute, while Pereira Lage and Thomas Mangani completed the turnaround for the hosts.
Brest 1-1 Toulouse
Efthymios Koulouris rescued a point for Toulouse with a late equaliser in a 1-1 stalemate against newly-promoted side Brest at Stade Francis-Le Ble.
Mathias Autret opened the scoring for the hosts in the 25th minute but the newly-promoted outfit could not hold on for three points as Koulouris snatched an equaliser in the last minute.
Dijon 1-2 Saint-Etienne
Saint-Etienne scored two early goals and managed to get away with a 2-1 victory over Dijon on Saturday evening at Stade Gaston-Gerard.
Romain Hamouma grabbed the lead for the visitors in the fifth minute befoe Jean Eudes Aholou doubled their lead six minutes later.
Julio Tavares pulled a goal back for Dijon in the 34th minute from the penalty spot but the home side could not find the equaliser and slipped to defeat.
Montpellier 0-1 Rennes
Ten-man Rennes defied the odds to beat Montpellier 1-0 on Saturday evening at Stade De La Mosson.
Jeremy Morel opened the scoring for the visitors in the sixth minute. There was drama on the hour-mark as Montpellier were awarded a penalty on the hour-mark but Andy Delort failed to capitalise as his spot-kick was saved by goalkeeper Romain Salin.
The visitors were losing their discipline thereafter as Flavien Tait was red-carded with 20 minutes remaining for violent conduct, but they managed to hold on for the win in the end.
Nice 2-1 Amiens
Nice struck late in the second half to earn themselves a 2-1 victory over ten-man Amiens on Saturday evening at Allianz Riviera.
The visitors started on the back-foot as Eddy Gbahore received his second booking in the 27th minute, which allowed Nice to use the numerical advantage as Christophe Herelle broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute.
Chadrack Akolo eventually levelled matters for Amiens with nine minutes remaining but Dante snatched the winner for the hosts in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
