Angers 3-0 Metz

Angers cruised to a 3-0 victory over newly promoted side Metz on Saturday evening at Stade Raymond-Kopa.

Farid El Melali grabbed the lead for the hosts in the fourth minute, while Baptiste Santamaria doubled their two minutes before the break.

Rachid Alioui sealed all the three points for Angers with 23 minutes remaining.

Amiens 1-2 Nantes

Bafana Bafana midfielder Bongani Zungu was on target for ten-man Amiens, who suffered 2-1 to Nantes on Saturday evening.

Amiens started on the back foot after Boyake Dibassy was red-carded in the 31st and the visitors gained the advantage after breaking the deadlock eight minutes into the second stanza, courtesy of Kalifa Coulibaly.

Zungu levelled matters for the hosts with 19 minutes remaining but he ended up on the losing side, as Moses Simon snatched the winner for Nantes six minutes before time.

Brest 1-0 Reims

Recently promoted outfit Brest continued to make strides in top flight after netting late to beat Reims 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Stade Francis-Le Ble.

In a match that was seemingly heading for a stalemate, Gaetan Charbonnier gave the home fans something to shout about, after netting the breakthrough and the winner for four minutes before time.

Dijon 0-2 Bordeaux

Bordeaux won their first match of the campaign after beating Dijon 2-0 on Saturday evening at Stade Gaston-Gerard.

Hwang Ui-Jo opened the scoring for the visitors in the 11th minute before Loris Benito made it 0-2 two minutes after the break and ultimately sealed all the three points.
