Nice 1-2 Olympique Marseille
Olympique Marseille registered their first win of the Ligue 1 season with a 2-1 triumph over Nice at the Allianz Rivier.
The visitors took the lead through Dario Bendetto after 31 minutes, but Nice managed to restore parity in the 66th minute after Wylan Cyprien netted from the penalty spot.
However, Marseille were awarded a penalty of their own after 73 minutes, which Dimitri Payet converted to hand his side three points.
Lille 3-0 Saint-Ettiene
Lille returned to winning ways after securing a 3-0 victory over Saint-Etiiene on Wednesday evening.
Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, who replace Loic Remy after 19 minutes, opened the scoring in the 37th minute.
Jonathan Bamba doubled the lead in the 69th minute before Osimhen completed his brace five minutes later.
