Olympique Marseile 1-1 Montpellier
Nine-Man Olympique Marseille were denied top spot in the Ligue 1 table after they were held to a 1-1 stalemate by ten-man Montpellier on Saturday afternoon at Orange Velodrome.
Bouna Sarr netted an own goal to give the visitors the lead in the 17th minute and Varele Germain eventually levelled matters for Marseille with 16 minutes remaining.
There was skirmishes in the end as three players were red-carded for violent conduct: namely Boubacar Kamara and Dimitri Payer for the hosts and then Jordan Ferri for Montpellier.
Bordeaux 2-2 Brest
Pablo nettedthe equaliser for Bordeaux to rescue a 2-2 stalemate against Brest in a four-goal blitz on Saturday afternoon at Stade Matmut-Atlantique.
Jimmy Briand grabbed an early lead for the hosts in the sixth minute but Samel Grandsir levelled matters for Brest in the 20th minute. Mathias Autret gave the visitors a the lead in first-half stoppage time before Pablo salvaged a point for Bordeaux with the equaliser 21 minutes before time.
Metz 1-2 Amiens
Amiens clinched their second victory of the season after edging Metz 2-1 on Saturday evening at Stade Saint-Symphorien.
Serhou Guirassy and Bakaye Dibassy put the hosts two goals up, Habib Diallo pulled a goal back for Metz with 22 minutes remaining but Amiens held on for all the three points.
Nice 2-1 Dijon
Nice threw themselves among the leading pack in Ligue 1 with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over struggling Dijon on Saturday evening at Allianz Riviera.
Julio Tavares gave Dijon the lead in the 22nd minute, but the hosts hit back seven minutes later through Kasper Dolberg, while Youcef Atal snatched the lead that proved to the winner two minutes after the break.
Nimes 1-0 Toulouse
Nimes edged ten-man Toulouse 1-0 for their second victory of the season on Saturday evening at Stade des Costieres.
Romain Philippoteaux broke the deadlock for the hosts six minutes before the break while Toulouse shot themselves in the foot with nine minutes remaining after Bafode Diakite was red-carded,
Stade Reims 0-0 Monaco
AS Monaco's search for their first victory of the season continued as they were held to a goalless stalemate by Stade Reims on Saturday evening at Stade Auguste-Delaune II.
