Ligue 1 wrap

Olympique Lyonnais got back to winning ways after edging Nice 2-1 in a dramatic game that saw one player sent off for each side at Groupama Stadium.

Lyon took a two-goal lead in the first 28 minutes thanks to Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Moussa Dembele but they were down to ten men 11 minutes before the break after Fernando Marcal was sent off.

Nice pulled a goal back with 12 minutes remaining courtesy of Kasper Dolberg but they too suffered a red card in the last four minutes after Patrick Burner picked his second yellow card.

Strasbourg moved four points clear of the relegation zone after walloping ten-man Amiens 4-0.

Anthony Caci broke the deadlock for Strasbourg two minutes before the break, while Ludovic Ajorque, Lebogang Mothiba and Nuno da Costa got second-half goals.

Amiens who played the last eight minutes with ten men after Aurelien Chedjou was sent off.

Angers went up to second on the table after narrowly beating Nimes 1-0 at Stade Raymond-Kopa.

After a first half that could not produce goals, Thomas Mangani finally broke the deadlock for the hosts in the 67th minute.

Brest 1-1 Nantes

Irvin Cardona scored late for Brest to salvage a 1-1 draw against Nantes at Stade Francis-Le Ble.

Kalifa Coulibaly broke the deadlock for Nantes in the 31st minute but Cardona denied the visitors victory, after netting the equaliser for Brest with 22 minutes remaining.

Dijon climbed out of the relegation zone after coming from behind to edge Rennes 2-1 at Stade Gaston-Gerard.

Raphinha found the breakthrough for Rennes two minutes before the hour-mark but Frederic Sammaritano got the equaliser for the hosts with 20 minutes remaining, while Mounir Chouiar snatched the winner eight minutes before time.

Adama Traore II rescued a point for Menza against ten-man Stade Reims at Stade Saint-Symphorien.

Axel Disasi grabbed an early lead for Reims in the seventh minute before Traore II levelled matters for Metz two minutes after the break.

Mathieu Cafaro was sent off for the visitors in the last minute as the spoils were shared on the night.
