Lionel Messi has now reportedly made a big decision about his future with Paris Saint-Germain following his 2022 FIFA World Cup triumph with Argentina.
The forward's future has been the subject of heavy speculation for months, with the player being linked with a return to FC Barcelona and a spectacular switch to Inter Miami.

Soon after the World Cup in Qatar kicked off, it was claimed the latter were closing in on a record-breaking deal for Messi and wanted to make him the highest-paid player in Major Soccer League history, with further reports suggesting David Beckham's side were confident of completing the transfer.
However, PSG club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi hit back, saying he, too, was confident, believing a contract renewal would be negotiated instead.
Now, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a verbal pact has been made by Messi to the Ligue 1 club over a new deal.
With his current contract set to expire at the end of this campaign, it is said the Argentine has been convinced to stay at the Parc des Princes for at least one more season.
Romano added that no contract has been signed yet and more meetings will take place to discuss finer details such as salary and contract length.
