Neymar breaks lockdown restrictions

Neymar appears to have landed himself in hot water in Brazil after the Paris Saint-Germain superstar's personal chef accidentally recorded him breaking lockdown restrictions.

Amid the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic, Neymar returned to Brazil, where he has been self-isolating with his family and two close friends in his home on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro.

However, according to O Dia, the former FC Barcelona forward has not been obeying lockdown restrictions and has entertained numerous visits from others to his home since his return to the country.

The revelations came to light when Neymar's personal chef posted a video on Instagram in which three other people are seen at the 28-year-old's home, including popular DJ Barbara Lopes, who lives in the same area.

The video sparked a barrage of criticism towards the Brazil international, who has been accused of not taking his self-isolation seriously, particularly as the latest instance was not the first time he had invited guests over.

Brazil has had more than 200 000 reported cases of the coronavirus, with no fewer than 13 000 people confirmed to have died as a result of the disease.
