Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has learned his fate following his bust-up with Olympique Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez last month.
Neymar was shown a straight red card during PSG's 1-0 Ligue defeat to Marseille in September when he lashed out at Gonzalez, becoming the fifth player to have been given his marching orders during the fiery encounter.
Following the incident, the Brazil forward accused his Spanish opponent of directing offensive racial taunts at him, with subsequent counter-allegations being made against Neymar that he, himself, was guilty of uttering racial and homophobic slurs.
This prompted an investigation by the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), who reached a conclusion this week and found that there was insufficient evidence to sanction either player for their alleged indiscretions.

"After examining the file, hearing the players and the representatives of the clubs, the commission notes that it does not have sufficient convincing evidence to allow it to establish the materiality of the facts of discriminatory remarks by the player Alvaro Gonzalez against Neymar Jr during the meeting of Neymar Jr against Alvaro Gonzalez," the LFP said, per Sky Sports.
"Consequently, the commission decides that there is no reason for sanction."
PSG's Leandro Paredes and Layvin Kurzawa, and Marseille's Jordan Amavi and Dario Benedetto were the other players who were given their marching orders during the clash, while Angel Di Maria was later sanctioned after video footage emerged of him spitting at Gonzalez.
