Neymar's father has broken his silence on reports that his son has informed PSG that he wants to leave in this window.
L'Equipe reported on Monday that the Brazilian superstar told the French club he wants out, less than a week before the 2023/24 Ligue 1 season gets underway.

It was said the 31-year-old is no longer considered a key player under new boss Luis Enrique, despite his good relationship with the manager stemming back from their time together at FC Barcelona.
PSG have shown a new level of strictness in recent months, with the club said to be desperate to move away from their previous "bling" approach and begin a project in which individuals do not feel like they are bigger than the club.
Kylian Mbappe has been a notable of example of the side's new approach, with the French giants having frozen out their all-time top goalscorer due to his refusal to sign an extension, while many feel that Neymar is also a product of the "bling" generation at the club.
However, asked about his son's request to leave the Parc des Princes on Monday, Neymar's father told PL Brasil: "I can't confirm a piece of news that didn't happen. L'Equipe is being L'Efake.
"It came from somewhere, let's try to understand the intention."
This new speculation comes after rumours emerged suggesting that Barcelona president Joan Laporta wants Neymar back at the Camp Nou, although it is also claimed that manager Xavi Hernandez has no plans for the Brazilian in his side.
Premier League giants Chelsea have also recently been credited with an interest in the Selecao talisman, with initial discussions reported to have begun in January 2023.
However, despite French outlet RMC Sport claiming that the Blues have remained in contract with Neymar's camp, The Guardian reports that Chelsea insiders have dismissed suggestions that the London outfit will make an attempt to sign the winger in the current window.
