
Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al Khelaifi 'in advanced talks' with English club over takeover

According to Frech newspaper Le Parisien, the president of QSI and owner of PSG, Nasser Al Khelaifi, has met in Doha with the owner of the English club, Andrea Radrizzani.
Following Leeds' defeat in the promotion play-off for the Premier League, the Italian is said to have put the club up for sale and negotiations have advanced to such a point that an agreement could be close.

This is not the first attempt by QSI to expand its business beyond that of Ligue 1 giants PSG, with them looking at potentially buying AS Roma in 2017.
There's been significant investment over recent years in the English game, which has seen Manchester City taken over by a group from Abu Dhabi, and Newcastle United expected to be passed into the hands of the cousin of City's owner.
