PSG 'send message' to Mbappe after team exclusion

With Kylian Mbappe having been excluded from Paris Saint-Germain's pre-season tour, the club's president has now reportedly issued a strong message to the French superstar.

The 24-year-old is expected to take no part in PSG's tour of Japan and South Korea amid a contract stand-off with the club.

The Parisian giants have been clear that the player should sign a one-year contract extension included in his current deal or be sold to the biggest bidder next month.

Mbappe has shown no sign of caving in to that demand, though, maintaining his stance that he will leave as a free agent in June 2024.

The situation is expected to be a lot clearer when the set "deadline" of 31 July is reached, when the Ligue 1 giants reportedly expect the player to either put pen to paper on a new deal until 2025 or immediately sanction his sale.

Les Parisiens are also understood to be convinced the forward already has a pre-contract agreement to join Real Madrid, but it is said the Spanish powerhouse are not keen on making a move now as they would rather sign him as a free agent.

According to French news outlet Le Parisien, club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has now told Mbappe to listen to offers from other clubs.

It is said that there is a growing list of teams registering their interest in the forward's situation, with Chelsea said to have entered the picture, while clubs in Saudi Arabia would be willing to make a plan to secure his signature.

The report further claims, though, that Mbappe wants only Real as his next destination.
