PSG have intensified their efforts to retain Kylian Mbappe's services, having now reportedly set a monstrous new price tag on the player.
Mbappe has been been linked with a move to Real Madrid for more than two years now, in a saga that has captured the attention of the entire football world.

The French national team captain was not included in PSG's pre-season squad after stating that he would not sign a new deal with the club, igniting rumours that he could soon become a Los Blancos player.
However, a U-turn occurred after a meeting between the club's president and the striker, who later rejoined his PSG teammates in training and for matches.
Mbappe came off the bench in PSG's opening Ligue 1 match of the season against Lorient, which ended in a goalless draw. He then helped the team to a point when he scored from the spot in the club's 1-1 stalemate with Toulouse on Saturday.
According to AS, though, Mbappe's camp and the club have now reportedly agreed to set the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner's price tag at a whopping €250 million (R5.1 billion) in the event a potential suitor comes calling. That fee would break the world record currently held by Neymar for his transfer to PSG.
It is further claimed that they have also agreed to a contract extension, with the deal reportedly including a "guaranteed sale clause" in return for Mbappe's signature. This would see the club not lose their talisman on a free transfer next year should he decide to leave then.
Real are also reportedly aware of the price tag PSG have set for the Les Bleus captain, but have not yet submitted an official bid for the attacker, although there are rumours suggesting that they could make a move to sign him before this transfer window closes.
