Real Madrid transfer news: Zinedine Zidane's son to join Montpellier?

It seems the 22-year-old's long-term future could back in his home nation as Marca report that he will leave on a free transfer at the end of the current season.

Having only made two appearances for the Los Blancos first team, Zidane was loaned out to second division outfit Racing Santander for the 2019/2020 season.

The Spanish publication claim that French shot-stopper's agent has already met with Montpellier about a possible deal.

However, Montpellier president Laurent Nicollin has come out to deny the reports with Zinedine Zidane's son.

"He is a very good goalkeeper, with lots of potential, but of his profile, we already have Dimitry Bertaud.

"What we are looking for is a number one," he told Midi Libre, as per Get Football News France.
