New Paris Saint-Germain signing has responded to the reports linking his former rival Lionel Messi with a move to the Ligue 1 giants.
As things stand, the Argentine superstar remains a free agent after his contract at the Camp Nou expired at the end of last month.
Messi has been heavily linked with the Paris outfit and Premier League champions Manchester City, but reports in Spain claim there is a five-year deal on the table for the player to sign.
Ramos had some heated battles with Messi in El Clasico but he admits there's always a space in his team for the six-time Ballon d'Or.
"Leo is one of the best players in the world," he answered, according to El Mundo.
"But it's not up to me. I could tell you a thousand things, but they wouldn't be decisive. Everyone makes the decisions they have to make.
"But I like to be surrounded by the best and I will always have a place for him in my team."
