Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has explained why he gave his FA Cup winners medal to Tyrell Malacia, who had not played a game last season.
The Red Devils endured a disappointing 2023/24 campaign but managed to end on a high after defeating cross-town rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

Casemiro also pulled out of the matchday squad due injury before the clash and watched from the stands alongside Malacia.
After the game, the former Real Madrid star opted to hand his winner's medal to the Dutchman despite his teammate missing the entirety of the campaign through injury.
"I didn't know Malacia had talked about it, but it's true, I gave him my medal," Casemiro told reporters.
"He hadn't played a single game that season, and he didn't want to climb the steps. There was no medal for him, so I gave him mine.
"He's part of the team and we're counting on him. Even though he hasn't played this season, we love him, we need him and he also needs love."
The Red Devils will be aiming to secure their first Premier League win under Ruben Amorim when they host Everton on Sunday.
