Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has made a transfer request to the club ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
Ten Hag is still on track to get the Red Devils in the UEAFA Champions League, while they are also in the FA Cup final where they will face Manchester City.
The Red Devils have often been criticised for not having a world class number nine after losing Cristiano Ronaldo while Anthony Martial has struggled with injury.

The club signed Netherlands international Wout Weghorst on loan from Burnley in the January transfer window, but they are not expected to make that a permanent deal.
Ten Hag has once again plead with the club to sign a striker next season amid repots linking them with Harry Kane.
"Everyone knows, it's not a secret that over the whole season we have had a shortage of No9s,' Ten Hag said, as per Daily Mail.
"First, we had the dropout of [Cristiano] Ronaldo, then Anthony Martial was often not available, Jadon Sancho was often not available, then you have a shortage of frontline players.
"With fewer players we have to cover many games, so we definitely need players in the frontline who strengthen the squad."
In the absence of a numebr nine, Marcus Rashford has starred with 29 goals across all competitions but Ten Hag is still looking to add more to the defence.
"Rashford can also play very good as a No 9 and Anthony Martial is a great No 9," added Ten Hag.
"We have players who can play in that role but definitely we need some offensive players who are really impact players, quality players, who improve the frontline."
