Former Manchester United star Phil Jones has revealed how one of his famous teammates at Old Trafford once threatened to break his face.
The incident took place in 2012 following the Red Devils' shock 1-0 defeat to Wigan Athletic, with the result proving detrimental to United's Premier League title hopes that season.

Rivals Manchester City won the league that term, but United's title push was brought crashing down in that game against Wigan, with Shaun Maloney netted the only goal of the match early in the second half.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side had the likes of Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez, Antonio Valencia, and Nani in the team but just could not find an equaliser.
Jones has since revealed that he grew frustrated with Nani late in that game, and yelled at the Portuguese winger to pass him the ball.
This incensed the former Portugal international, who would later confront Jones in the dressing room.
"I remember a game we had at Wigan and we pretty much lost the league," Jones told Rio Ferdinand's YouTube channel Rio Ferdinand Presents.
"We were losing 1-0 in the 90th minute and Nani, bless him, is doing all his step-overs on the side of the pitch.
"I'm going, 'just pass me the ball, pass me the ball'. And then I screamed at him, 'just pass me the f*****g ball!'
"Anyway, we come into the changing room after the game and he's come in shouting 'I will break your face, I will break your face!'
"I'm s******g myself. I don't know what's going to happen here.
"And then the manager comes in and shouts at everyone to sit down, so cheers, gaffer!"
