Manchester United are reportedly planning a sensational move for Kylian Mbappe amid a big-money takeover at Old Trafford.
United have received several bids following their announcement in November 2022 that they are looking for new investors.

On Friday, the club reportedly received a substantial bid from the chairman of Qatari bank QIB, Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani, with the Qatar government said to be keen on investing in the Premier League in order to expand their portfolio in Europe's big leagues, with Paris Saint-Germain already in their stable.
It is claimed their proposed takeover of the Red Devils would be debt-free, while all profits during Jassim's tenure would be channelled into the Manchester community through the newly-formed Nine Two Foundation.
The Middle Eastern contingent are understood to face a rival bid from British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is understood to be a life-long United fan.
While the club's current owners, the Glazer family, could yet still stay on, a takeover from new investors is expected to open a world of new possibilities, including some high-profile signings for the team.
According to Football Insider, a sensational plot to sign Mbappe has been put in place should new owners take charge of the Manchester club.
It is reported that, while it is unclear which prospective new owner would want to sign Mbappe, the recruitment department at the Theatre of Dreams is already laying the groundwork for the next transfer window, with the potential to acquire Mbappe's services said to be high on the agenda.
The Red Devils will certainly be in the market for a new striker following Cristiano Ronaldo's departure in November, and it is said that once a takeover is completed, the new owners could go about making a statement signing.
