A Manchester United fan favourite is now reportedly close to leaving Old Trafford for a European giant after spending the past 22 years at the club.
Scott McTominay joined the Red Devils' youth ranks as a five-year-old in 2002, and has gradually ascended through the club's ranks until he ultimately made his first-team debut in 2017.

Now, after more than two decades at the club, the Scotland international looks poised to bid farewell to the Theatre of Dreams and make his way to Serie A outfit Napoli to play under Antonio Conte.
According to The Athletic, the Lancaster native is set to travel to Naples on Tuesday afternoon to finalise his move, with the Mancunians having agreed to sell him for a fee in the region of €30 million (R595 million), while it is understood there is a 10% sell-on clause too.
The news comes in the wake of the record Premier League champions agreeing to sign Uruguay international Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain, and while the Scotsman enjoyed the most productive campaign of his career last season, scoring 10 goals across all competitions, the same report claims that Erik ten Hag could not guarantee him the minutes he wanted.
The sale of McTominay also presents the club with the opportunity to make a "pure profit" on his sale because he is a homegrown talent, making them further compliant with the Premier League and UEFA's financial fair play regulations.
