A Manchester United star is now reportedly "looking forward" to walking away from Old Trafford in the next few days.
Midfielder Donny van de Beek has become Fenerbahce's priority target as club manager Ismail Kartal seeks a versatile player who can fill various roles in midfield, according to A Spor.

The Turkish news outlet further reports that the Super Lig giants have "attached importance" to landing the Dutchman's signature in the next few days.
If Fenerbahce are successful in their attempts to secure the out-of-favour United man's signature, though, he would not be eligible to represent the side in the 2023/24 UEFA Europa Conference League group stage as the deadline to submit squads for that competition has already passed.

The club does, however, have until 15 September, when the Turkish transfer window closes, to complete a deal for the 26-year-old, who is said to be "looking forward" to leaving Manchester after struggling for minutes on the pitch since joining the Red Devils in 2020.
Fener have had a busy window thus far, bolstering their squad with the likes of Edin Dzeko, Dusan Tadic, Fred, Rodrigo Becao, Sebastian Szymanski and Dominik Livakovic, and are hopeful of adding the United midfielder to that list.
A move away from Old Trafford would also ensure that Van de Beek gets the game time he desires, with the former Ajax Amsterdam man yet to feature in any of the Red Devils' Premier League matches this season, although it is further claimed that Galatasaray are also interested in the Netherlands international, so it remains to be seen where he could take his career to next.
