NEW: Man United 'open to selling' Real Madrid target

Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell one of their stars, who is a target for Real Madrid.

Los Blancos are most likely going to be in the transfer market for a defender after some big injuries this campaign.

Carlo Ancelotti lost the only right-back, Dani Carvajal, a couple months ago while Brazil international Eder Militao has also been ruled out for the season after another ACL rapture.

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly Los Blancos' main target to replace Carvajal, but they are unlikely to make a move in January as he will be a free agent in June next year,

According to the Independent, Madrid have already enquired about Red Devils full-back Diogo Dalot when Erik ten Hag was still in charge of the club.

The Portuguese full-back remains an important figure under new coach Ruben Amorim and has a contract with the club until 2028.

The report adds that the Red Devils would be willing to let the 25-year-old leave at fee in the region of €60million.

As previously stated, Alexander-Arnold remains the main target while Tottenham Hotspur full-back Pedro Porro could also been seen as an alternative.
