Man Utd stars 'turned' on Sancho before bitter exit

With Jadon Sancho set to return to Old Trafford with Chelsea on Sunday, it has now been reported that some of his former teammates at Manchester United turned on him before his bitter exit from the club.

On 30 August, Sancho was put out of his misery at United as he completed a season-long loan move to Chelsea, which includes an obligation to buy at the end of the current campaign.

Despite seemingly resolving his differences with recently sacked manager Erik ten Hag during the off-season, it quickly became apparent that matters between them were not exactly fixed.

Sancho was left out of the United squad for the two opening Premier League matches of the season, against Fulham and Brighton Hove Albion, before making a transfer deadline day switch to Stamford Bridge.

While it was clear his relations with Ten Hag were strained, it is now suggested that some of his Red Devils teammates had turned their backs on the 24-year-old.

According to Manchester Evening News, an unnamed United player called Sancho "slow as sh*t" amid his public spat with Ten Hag.

It is further claimed that other squad members grew frustrated with the ex-Borussia Dortmund star as they felt he lacked urgency, therefore bearing very little sympathy for him.

Sancho's new side Chelsea will face the Red Devils at Old Trafford on Sunday, with his former employers looking to climb up from the 14th place they currently find themselves in after Ten Hag's sacking on Monday.
