Manchester United's new striker Rasmus Hojlund has made a bold claim regarding club legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
Following their lengthy pursuit for a striker since the English transfer window opened on 14 June, United finally signed their new centre-forward on the weekend, acquiring the Danish sensation's services from Atalanta in a deal worth €75 million (R1.5 billion).

The 20-year-old has penned a five-year deal at Old Trafford, with manager Erik ten Hag understood to have been integral in making the transfer a success.
The English giants had been without a permanent No. 9 since Ronaldo's acrimonious departure from the club in November 2022 following a fallout with the Dutch coach.
Wout Weghorst was brought in on a six-month loan deal from Burnley in January, but his spell in Manchester was largely underwhelming, with the tall marksman registering just two goals in 31 games for the Red Devils.
With Hojlund now set to permanently succeed Ronaldo in the centre-forward position at United, the new signing has insisted he has a similar mentality to the Portuguese superstar.
Speaking to MUTV, Hojlund said of Ronaldo: "I think there's an interview very early with [Ronaldo,] Anderson and [Rio] Ferdinand.
"The reporter asked them: 'Who's the best football player in the world?' and he [Ronaldo] just said 'me'.
"I like this mentality, that's the same mentality I go for."
There have been some suggestions that the abovementioned comments could be a cause for concern in the dressing room in light of Ronaldo's bitter exit and fractious relationship with Ten Hag.
The now-Al Nassr captain blasted the former Ajax Amsterdam boss in an interview with British broadcaster Piers Morgan, claiming that he had no "respect" for the tactician as he felt the feeling was mutual.
This would later result in the five-time Ballon d'Or winner parting ways with the club by mutual consent ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
