Paul Pogba has made a huge revelation about Pep Guardiola, and also detailed what went wrong during his second stint at Manchester United.
The France international initially came up through the youth ranks at the Red Devils before leaving for Juventus on a free transfer in August 2012.

After four years at the Serie A giants, the midfielder returned to Old Trafford for a whopping fee of £89 million (around R2 billion), and played for United until 2022, and then returning to Juventus once more as a free agent.
The latter stages of his time in Manchester were riddled with injuries, with his second spell at the club considered by many to have been an underwhelming one.
Pogba has now confirmed that, after leaving United, he had the choice of rejoining his former club in Italy or making the controversial move to the blue side of Manchester where he would have played under Pep Guardiola.
"Yes, I turned down Pep Guardiola's approach to accept Juventus proposal," the Frenchman told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"That story is true."
Speaking in a different interview with the Daily Mail, he also revealed that he wanted to leave the Red Devils much earlier than he actually did, and explained why.
"The year Jose [Mourinho] went and Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] came, it was my best season at United, but after the last game I told Ole and [former United CEO] Ed Woodward that I thought it was my last year and that I wanted to leave.
"I was 27 back then, it didn't work out the way I wanted. I gave my best but I didn't see the club going upwards.
"Manchester City and Liverpool were better than us and they were improving. Ole said yes (to him leaving) and that he would talk to Ed.
"My head was already that I wanted to go, but I came back for pre-season because I wanted to be professional.
"I spoke to Ed to try to make a move but he blocked it. I didn't want to play for United anymore, but I had to be professional.
"Mentally, I wasn't there and then I got the injuries."
Soon after his second stint at Juventus began, the midfielder failed a drug test in August 2023, resulting in him receiving a four-year-ban from football.

However, it was confirmed earlier this month that the Court of Arbitration for Sport had reduced his ban to 18 months following an appeal, which makes him eligible to grace the field once more in March 2025.
