OFFICIAL: Real's next UCL opponent revealed

Real Madrid have found out who their next opponents in the UEFA Champions League will be following the anticipated quarter-final draw on Friday afternoon.

The four fixtures for the next round of the Champions League were revealed in Nyon, Switzerland and some mouthwatering clashes have been confirmed, as reigning champions Real Madrid will do battle with another English team, Chelsea, after knocking out Liverpool in the round of 16 with a 6-2 scoreline on aggregate.

Los Blancos are the competition's most successful side with 14 titles, and have advanced to this stage of the tournament 19 times, with only Bayern Munich having made it to the quarter-finals on more occasions (21).

The Bundesliga giants, meanwhile, are the only German team remaining in the competition after both Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig were eliminated by Chelsea and Manchester City, respectively.

Bayern, who are widely considered among the favourites to win the Champions League this year, have won all six of their games so far, including back-to-back victories over Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 16. They will now face Manchester City.
