Mourinho makes big Real Madrid manager claim

Jose Mourinho has now made a big Real Madrid claim after being linked with a return to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The AS Roma manager was asked about a potential return to his former employers on Wednesday evening, but quickly ruled out the idea as "super coach" Carlo Ancelotti is still at the club, adding that he hopes the Italian tactician is still there next season.

Some reports have suggested that the current Los Blancos boss will part ways with the LALIGA club at the end of the season, with the Brazil national team presumed by many to be his next destination, although there has also been speculation that Ancelotti could yet extend his stay in Madrid.

Mourinho, meanwhile, is believed to have made his mind up about departing Roma when his contract expires at the end of this campaign, and although there are a number of suitors lining up, his next coaching venture is yet to be determined.

Having been linked with the Real hot seat once again, though, the Portuguese manager has insisted that the Spanish giants should not be thinking of replacing the Italian.

"Me at Real Madrid? When you have a super coach, why should you think of another?" Mourinho told Rai2, per GOAL.

"Knowing Don Florentino [Perez, Madrid president], and I know him very well, he is a super intelligent man. If he reads the press, he has his very clear ideas.

"As a Madridista, as a man who has some white ribs, and as an Ancelottian, I hope that the season goes fantastically and that next season Carlo is still there, because I think he is the perfect coach for Real Madrid."

The former Chelsea manager has also been linked with the England national team job, with the English FA reportedly keen on approaching the coach who previously rejected their advances in 2007.

Saudi Arabia are believed to be after Mourinho's services as well, with the "Special One" also admitting that a move to the Middle East would be inevitable for him.

"I'll tell you the truth, I think I'll go there one day. But when I say 'one day' I don't mean tomorrow or the day after," the coach added.
