Mbappe sets big goal target for 24/25 season

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has set a big goal target for his first season with the Spanish giants.

The France international made the perfect start to life with Los Blancos after scoring on his official debut in the UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta on Wednesday night.

The World Cup winner has been tipped to enjoy great success alongside Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham this campaign, but he wants to reach the 50-goal mark.

Los Blancos all-time leading scorer Cristiano Ronaldo was the last player to score 50 goals in one campaign for the Spanish giants,

"We are at Real Madrid, we have no limit, if I can score 50, then 50," Mbappe told Movistar.

"But the most important thing is winning and improving as a team, because we will win as a team."

Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti has been pleased with the way Mbappe has settled in after his high-profile move from Paris Saint-Germain.

"As is the case with all the new players, the people at the club try to make them feel comfortable," Ancelotti said, as per Football Espana.

"He is an extraordinary talent, and we must help him adapt. He has entered the dressing room very well, with humility, very serious…

"He has started very well."
