Luka Modric's agent has provided a crucial on the Real Madrid star, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
The Croatian midfielder has not been a regular in the midfield this season, although he has made 30 appearances, with some coming off the bench.

The veteran midfielder's contract comes to an end next month, and there has been no indication he will sign an extension.
"So far there is nothing clear about Modric's future with Real Madrid," he told Koora.
"Next week, things will be clearer for us.
"Madrid is Modric's homeland, and together we will decide what is best."
Modric has seen a bit more game time in recent weeks which could open his mind to signing a contract extension, but report claims he had already rejected a contract extension.
Should Modric decide to leave the Santiago Bernabeu, teams from the Saudi Pro League, Major League Soccer and LaLiga are reportedly keen.
