Real Madrid have now reportedly been offered the chance to sign a certain Manchester City star.
Los Blancos are approaching a transitional period, with the likes of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema well into the twilight of their decorated careers, with all three out of contract at the end of the season, although their renewals are expected.

While reports in Spain suggest that the trio may sign short contract extensions, it is evident the club has already begun preparing for the future after it was reported last week that they are nearing a deal for highly-rated England star Jude Bellingham, with an agreement said to already be in place.
With the Borussia Dortmund midfielder's reportedly imminent signing and the already-confirmed arrival of left-back Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano, the Spanish giants are now said to have been presented with the opportunity to sign a certain right-back.
According to Defensa Central, Los Blancos have been offered the chance to buy City's Joao Cancelo, with the fullback unlikely to join Bayern Munich on a permanent deal when his six-month loan spell in Bavaria comes to an end in June.
The sporting director at the German club, Hasan Salihamidzic, recently revealed that they had not yet made a decision regarding their £61.6 million (R1.4 billion) option to buy the 28-year-old on a permanent deal.
"Cancelo is a top player, technically a pleasure for the eyes," he said, per Manchester Evening News.
"We're glad we have him. We will see after the end of the season... it's too early now. There are no talks yet."
As such, Real are interested in the Portugal star as a potential long-term replacement for stalwart Dani Carvajal, but it is said they also have some concerns regarding Cancelo's track record of falling out with managers and teammates, with his January departure from the Etihad believed to be the result of a fractured relationship with Pep Guardiola.

The Madrid giants are now set to decide whether or not Cancelo's talent outweighs the character issues he has demonstrated so far in his career.
