With reports suggesting Real Madrid could still sign Kylian Mbappe in this window, Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed the club's stance on the matter.
Real have been heavily linked with making a last-ditch attempt to sign Mbappe before the window closes, after the player was involved in a well-documented stand-off with Paris Saint-Germain recently.

The France captain initially stated that he did not want to sign the optional one-year extension in his contract, which would keep him at the Parc des Princes until June 2025.
This incensed the Parisian giants' hierarchy, with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi making a public declaration that the forward must sign the extension or he will be sold to the highest bidder before the current window closes.
With Mbappe later being frozen out of the team for their entire pre-season tour of Asia, the two parties reached a new agreement of sorts earlier this month, although what the new terms of their relationship are has not explicitly been revealed.
Real are thought to have been patiently waiting to see how the situation pans out as they did not want to submit a formal bid to sign the 24-year-old, who would cost a fortune if they signed him in this window as opposed to bringing him in as a free agent next year, although recent speculation suggested that they could bite the bullet and attempt to buy him in the coming days.
Now, Real boss Ancelotti has insisted that the club will indeed not make any more new signings in this window.
"I rule it out, 100%," the Italian boss said at a press conference on Thursday afternoon when asked if his side would make any more new signings before the transfer deadline, according to The Athletic.
"The squad is closed."
