Real 'make decision' on Ancelotti amid Brazil offer

Real Madrid have reportedly made a decision about the future of Carlo Ancelotti, who has an offer from the Brazil national side.

The Italian's current deal with Los Blancos expires at the end of the season and he is yet to make a decision about an extension, especially with Brazil keen on his services.

However, it seems the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners are not ready for the Italian to leave just yet and are keen on offering him an extension.

Spanish publication Relevo have reported that Los Blancos are now contemplating giving the 64-year-old a two-year contract extension.

Ancelotti did respond to the links with the five-time World Cup winners earlier this year.

"I don't know the president of the Brazilian federation; if he wants to talk to me I would love to greet him," the Italian tactician, as per Goal.

"Yes, the reality is that if the national team of Brazil wants me, I'm very excited. But there is a contract at Madrid."

Meanwhile, Los Blancos reportedly have a key interest in former player and current Bayer Leverkusen Xabi Alonso as Ancelotti's long-term successor.

Alonso has impressed since taking over at Leverkusen last season and the team currently sit top of the Bundesliga table after 11 matches.
