Real Madrid have now reportedly made an offer to sign a highly-rated African star.
Los Blancos could see as many as five players leave in the next transfer window, with the likes of Mariano Diaz, Marco Asensio, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Karim Benzema all out of contract at the end of the season.

While some of them will reportedly sign new deals before the campaign ends, the LaLiga giants are understood to be already scanning the market for some potential reinforcements.
Real have already secured fullback Fran Garcia's services from Rayo Vallecano, with the player expected to join the squad in pre-season.
It appears Los Blancos are looking to do much of their business early as they are now said to have made a sizeable bid for an African star.
According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Carlo Ancelotti's side has made a €30 million (R609 million) offer for Villarreal attacker Samuel Chukwueze.
The highly-rated Nigerian has caught the eye in Spain after contributing with 13 goals and 11 assists across all competitions this season, including a stunning brace at the Santiago Bernabeu last month.
The 23-year-old has previously been linked with a reunion with his former boss Unai Emery at Aston Villa, but Real are said to have a more solid proposal as their offer could also include several players, namely youngsters Alvaro Rodriguez and Sergio Arribas, as well as goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, although the latter pair would have buy-back clauses inserted into their deals.
Chukwueze joined the Yellow Submarine's youth academy back in 2017 after impressing for Nigeria at the U17 FIFA World Cup alongside countryman Victor Osimhen.
He went on to make his first-team debut little more than a year later, and has since made 201 appearances for the Spanish club.
