Kimmich recent expressed his disappointment with the current state of the team after 3-0 loss to Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League.

"We have to admit that we are NOT a top team at the moment," the 29-year-old told DAZN.

"But the group is sticking together. That gives me hope. In the Champions League, we are in a very bad position, one that we brought upon ourselves.

"We are making too many mistakes and being punished for them harshly. The feeling after this clear defeat is very negative. But we must not, under any circumstances, doubt ourselves or the group."
