A Real Madrid star has snubbed his manager Carlo Ancelotti after revealing that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is "perfect" for his game.
The reigning European champions have been quite dominant since the start of the 2022/23 season. The club currently sits on top of the LaLiga table after 10 wins from their first 12 games and are yet to taste defeat.
One of their key players so far has been midfielder Toni Kroos, who featured 17 times across all competitions to date and ranks sixth in the squad in terms of minutes played.

While the German appears to be a trusted member of Ancelotti's team, he has now suggested that only his former Bayern Munich coach Guardiola brought out the best in him.
"Guardiola fought until the last day to keep me at Bayern," the 32-year-old said on Movistar+ show Universo Valdano.
"If you have to choose a coach who is perfect for my game, it is Guardiola. I really enjoyed the year with him, he improved me a lot."
Kroos only spent the 2013/14 season under the Spaniard in Bavaria before making a €25 million (R445 million) move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
In that season with Guardiola in Bavaria, the playmaker won four trophies, including the Bundesliga, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and the German Cup.
After leaving the Allianz Arena, Kroos told The Athletic, "I loved playing for Guardiola. And, of course, I could have renewed my contract at Bayern.
"But I didn't believe it would be a good idea to sign an agreement just for the coach. He wanted me to renew my contract, but what sense did it make to sign a five-year contract if he was going to leave before that?"
